Doug DuBois - My Last Day at Seventeen
Doug DuBois was introduced to a group of teenagers from the Russel Heights houssing estate while he was an artist-in-residence in Cobh,  located on the southwest coast of Ireland. He was facsinated by how the teenagers all knew eachother. His eyes opened when  two participants of a workshop took him to a local hangout spot.
Doug Dubois combines touching portraits, moody landscapes and spontaneous momentss in a book that describes the struggle of growing up in his very own way. This book  is very inspirational in many ways but I would think the way it's really relatable is the best point about it. Here are some of my favorites from the book.
